Michael Brooks Kent, Sr., 83, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, October 26, 2025. Born on October 15, 1942 at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta, he was the son of the late Jordan Clarence "Jack" Kent and Judy (Hale) Kent of Atlanta and was the second of five children. Mr. Kent's professional career in the technology sector spanned nearly 40 years. He held numerous positions at both Delta Airlines and Worldspan including computer room supervisor, systems analyst, manager of programming, resource manager, senior project manager, and lead programmer analyst. A dedicated Christian, Mr. Kent became a believer at the age of 16 at Bethel Methodist Church in West Atlanta.
