Kimberly Sullivan, a woman who is accused of holding her stepson captive in their Waterbury home for decades until he set it on fire to escape, is due in court on Friday afternoon.

During her last court appearance, the judge heard special requests from both the defense and the prosecution.

Sullivan’s attorney asked the judge to allow his client to be able to return to the Waterbury home at 2 Blake St. that she shared with her stepson to gather her belongings and for her GPS tracker to be removed.

The judge granted the motion that she can go back to her house and postponed the decision on whether the GPS tracker can be removed.
