: The Department of Music, Martin Luther Christian University (MLCU), Shillong, has successfully concluded a month-long music education program at Mawlong Secondary School. The classes, held every Friday from October 3 to October 31, 2025, aimed to promote music education and creative expression among school students.

The program introduced students to various instruments and musical forms, including piano, guitar, ukulele, Ksing, and singing. The hands-on sessions provided students with an opportunity to explore both contemporary and indigenous music, fostering an appreciation for the diversity and beauty of musical traditions.
