The Newark Police Division is currently recruiting new police officers and no Civil Service test is required to apply.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be a Newark resident

• Be between 18 and 34 years old

• Possess a valid driver’s license

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent

• Speak and read Englis h
