The World’s Tallest Glass Tree Festival is set to return to Yerkes Observatory in Williams Bay, Wis., in Dec. 5–7 and 12–14. Visitors will witness the live creation of a 36-foot glass tree glowing with a ruby-red hue, constructed from molten recycled glass. For the first time, every ticket grants access inside the historic observatory, home of the world’s largest refracting telescope (built in 1897), allowing families to connect art, science, and history in one experience.
