GALLATIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — An 18-year-old has been taken into custody in connection with a shooting that killed one teen and injured another in Gallatin last week, officials said.
According to the Gallatin Police Department, officers were sent to a shooting in the 100 block of Drivers Lane at approximately 4 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23.

When officers arrived at the scene, they reportedly found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Authorities said life-saving measures were provided until medical personnel arrived and took the victims to local hospitals for treatment.
One of the victims—identified as 19-year-old Kyris Brassell— died from his injuries, according to the GPD. Meanwhile, the second victim—only identified
