ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Families and friends gathered Sunday to remember 21-year-old Elajia Whitley, who Gwinnett County police say was shot to death outside a shopping center in Duluth on Friday afternoon.
The vigil was held outside the Promenade at Pleasant Hill shopping center, where Whitley was found. She worked at the BioLife Plasma Services center along Pleasant Hill Road.

The Duluth center will be closed through Tuesday at 12 p.m.
