SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - The Sioux City Mayor’s Youth Commission is accepting applications for new members, and the deadline to apply has been extended to Monday, Nov. 10.

Students who qualify for the Mayor’s Youth Commission must be in 9th or 10th grade and live in Sioux City or go to school in Sioux City. The new term for the next commission begins Jan. 1, 2026.

Potential members attend a set number of meetings and activities during the calendar year and participate in a variety of community projects.
