BATON ROUGE, La. ( WAFB /Gray News) - A missing Louisiana teenager was found in a basement more than 1,000 miles away from home.
The teen girl was first reported missing by law enforcement in October.
Officials received information from the State of Louisiana’s Attorney General’s Office Cyber Crime Unit, revealing the missing teen may have had online contact with an unknown man, identified as 26-year-old Ki-Shawn Crumity.
According to arrest reports, Crumity and the teen girl met on Snapchat. Crumity allegedly told the teen he would get her adopted by a ‘trusted adult.’
Investigators determined that the teen had traveled on a bus from Columbus, Georgia, to Pennsylvania.
At the time of her disappearance, she had been seen at the Greyhound bus station in Baton Rouge.
