AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The investigation into a Canyon teen accused of planning a Fourth of July attack in Canyon is still ongoing, according to court documents.

Kevin Alexander Hunt, 18, is federally charged with Attempted Use of a Weapon of Mass Destruction . He is in federal custody at Randall County Jail.

Documents for a protective order filed today show that the investigation into Hunt led to the investigation of other individuals he communicated with across various online sites.

The documents hint that there may be more unindicted co-defendants of Hunt.

Investigating agents seized a large number of electronic devices, juvenile records, and other documents with protected information about the minors involved.
