An Española man turned himself in after, police allege, he stabbed his co-worker in the kitchen of Española's Denny's restaurant Thursday evening.
The victim — a dishwasher at the restaurant — survived the attack with a wound to his abdomen, and he was transported to University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque for treatment, according to court records.
Tobias Romero, 28, faces a felony count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon stemming from the incident, according to a criminal complaint filed Friday in Rio Arriba County Magistrate Court.
