ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -Steve’s Hot Dogs will host a “Snap Back to Hunger” fundraiser event this weekend.

It comes as uncertainty remained regarding SNAP benefits as more and more people turn to assistance as the government shutdown continues.

One dollar from every purchase of a classic hamburger or hot dog, will be donated to the St. Louis Area Foodbank.

The fundraiser runs both Saturday and Sunday at all three Steve’s locations in the metro area.
