CADDO PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Sheriff’s Safety Town welcomed over 2,000 attendees for its annual Trunk or Treat event on Monday night, providing a safe and enjoyable trick-or-treating experience for the community.

Organized by local deputies, businesses, and first responders, the event featured a variety of activities and festivities aimed at promoting safety during Halloween.

Participants enjoyed a festive atmosphere, making lasting memories with family and friends. "We are thrilled with the turnout this year and appreciate everyone who contributed to the success of the event," a representative from the Sheriff’s office stated.

The department says plans are already in motion for an even larger event next year.
