Complainant states head forcibly shaved, alleges physical assault by perpetrators, reports denial of food during captivity
Seven individuals have been taken into police custody after a transgender woman (24) filed a complaint alleging that she was kidnapped, assaulted, and tortured for almost a day and a half by a group of individuals from her own community. The incident reportedly took place between October 29 and the early hours of October 31.
The complaint was filed on Thursday at around 1.45 pm. According to the police, the complainant, identified as Sukanya, had been living in the house of a woman named Chaitra for the past five months and survived by begging.
