Honolulu police arrested three people, confiscated three e-dirt bikes, issued 10 citations and gave 15 warnings during an enforcement operation in Ewa Beach on Thursday.

In a statement, police said officers from District 1 and support units from District 8 conducted an e-bike and e-dirt bike operation in the Ewa and Kapolei areas on Thursday.

Police said the arrests were for driving without a license and contempt of court warrants.

“HPD reminds the public that high-speed e-dirt bikes are not approved for use on roadways and are extremely dangerous. Let’s work to create safer roads together,” the department said.
