MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One of the people arrested in the FBI's drug sting in Mississippi is a school resource officer with Memphis Shelby County Schools.
School officials say Aasahn Roach is on administrative leave after being named in the indictment on Thursday.
According to public records, Roach worked at a Memphis middle school and has been with the school district since 2018.
Twenty people including current and former law enforcement officers were charged with drug trafficking.
Most of the arrests took place in the Mississippi Delta, but they say a pipeline to Shelby County was involved.
