Laker doesn’t have the sparkle and the flash.

So teams are often left wondering what the heck just happened.

Using their trademark nose-to-the-grindstone approach, the No. 9-ranked Lakers completely bottled up Cass City for a 17-0 victory in their Division 7 district semifinal.

“We’ve got guys who don’t look the part, but they play the part,” Laker coach Dave LeVasseur said. “We’re a physical, fun, emotional team and it’s a blast to watch it all happen.”
