CrossCountry strikes called off for Saturday with services back on track View Image
Rail passengers can breathe a sigh of relief this weekend after planned strike action by the RMT union was suspended, allowing CrossCountry to run a full timetable.
Services will return to normal this Saturday, November 1, across the CrossCountry network. However, some journeys may still be affected due to previously scheduled engineering works.
CrossCountry said it expects high demand this weekend as pre-Christmas events and town centre activities attract crowds, with customers urged to check travel details in advance.
Shiona Rolfe, managing director of CrossCountry, said: “We are pleased that RMT has suspended planned strike action this Saturday, November 1, and we look forward to welcoming passenge
