HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- A Perry County resident earned a proficiency award alongside six others at the 98th National FFA Convention and Expo.

Maggie Rose Taylor earned the award for Outdoor Recreation at the awards in Indianapolis on Friday. Officials say Taylor worked to help others with game laws, natural resource management, and historical preservation laws.
