SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake City Police are asking for assistance in finding a missing 8-year-old girl who was last seen Friday evening.

The department said Mauwa Meshack Amani who was last seen around 6:30 p.m. near 1630 West 1700 South.

Mauwa is believed to be wearing a red and black shirt, black pants and a witch hat.

Anyone with information on Mauwa is urged to call 9-1-1 immediately.
