SPINDALE, N.C. (WSPA) - A house party ended early Saturday morning with a Spindale home being hit by at least 14 bullets, according to authorities.
According to Spindale Police Department, officers were called to the 400 block of Oakland Road just before 4 a.m. Saturday for a reported shooting.
According to police, officers arrived at the scene to find multiple people attempting to leave the home when several gunshots were heard.
The police department said while officers were awaiting backup, more people fled the home. At this time it does not appear anyone fired at the officers.
Investigators said information collected at the scene indicated a house party had turned violent and a fight broke out among people at the party. While the fight was going on, someone reportedly produced a gun
