BOSTON — At his pregame availability before Saturday’s game against Carolina, Marco Sturm gave his normal Bruins lineup updates.
Jeremy Swayman will start in goal. Viktor Arvidsson will play more on the power play with Elias Lindholm out, and there are no changes on defense.
For the third straight game, Mason Lohrei will be out of the lineup against the NHL’s best offensive team.
Sturm hoped that his gifted, but frustrating young defenseman didn’t like his decision.
“He should be pissed. He should be very pissed. He should be upset,” Sturm said. “He works hard. He’s ready. He just waits for his opportunity. That’s the goal.
