Campbell County faced about as much adversity in a first round playoff game as one team could, but they came away with a 19-13 win over Laramie to move on to the semifinals this Friday at home.

Last Wednesday, sophomore backup quarterback Drew Wasson found out he would be starting in place of the injured Coulter Lang . Wasson, who only took five snaps last week in the 45-19 win over Cheyenne East, came prepared to play for Campbell County.

CCHS led 10-6 going into halftime, but in the second half, the offense struggled to move the ball. Both teams went scoreless in the third quarter as their defenses came up with key stops.

In the fourth quarter, Laramie used its run game to drive down the field and punched it in with a Boone Frude rushing touchdown to take the lead, 13-10, with 7:4
