The Ministry of Natural Resources is seeking the public’s help as they investigate two incidents of deer being shot at night.
A deer was shot on East River Road in the Glen Morris area at about 11 p.m. on Sunday, October 19. Conservation officers found signs that suggested an animal had been dragged and removed from the scene.

Then on Monday, October 20 at about 10:45 p.m., a deer was shot and left behind on Ferguson Road near Jerseyville.
Both incidents were reported through tips from area citizens and conservation officers say a dark-coloured Dodge Ram pickup truck may have been involved in both incidents.
