A 31-year-old Florida man was convicted Friday of all charges for his role among a half-dozen people accused of abducting a man from a Shelby Township fitness center parking lot, and imprisoning, torturing and robbing him two years ago.

A Macomb County jury deliberated for three hours before finding Xavier Chase Gardner guilty of carjacking, unlawful imprisonment, home invasion and armed robbery, and conspiracies to commit those crimes, as well as torture gun charges, following a three-day trial in front of Judge Joseph Toia.

Gardner faces double-digit years in prison when he is sentenced Dec. 17.
