Virginia State Police have arrested the driver accused of accidentally striking and killing a pedestrian in Edinburg in August.
Police obtained felony arrest warrants on Oct. 26 for Lindsay Rae Price, 35, of Edinburg, charging her with involuntary manslaughter, according to a news release. Police issued an alert on Thursday night and Friday morning seeking help to locate Price, who they identified as a fugitive.
Authorities took Price into custody without incident in Basye on Friday, police advised in an update.
Police investigated a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian that occurred just before 4:30 p.m. Aug. 6, on Stoney Creek Boulevard near the intersection with Printz Drive in Edinburg.
