BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Birmingham fire crews have put out the fire that damaged several buildings in the Five Points South area Friday morning.
Firefighters terminated fire watch operations Saturday night, according to Battalion Chief Clay Hendon.
The area of Cobb Lane and 20th Street between 13th and 14th Avenue are still block by Birmingham Police due to safety.
Chief Hendon says power has been restored to the area with the exception of the buildings that were involved in the fire.
The primary structure is a total loss, with the other three structures likely being the same due to the damage.
