A 10-year-old West Lothian schoolgirl is looking to break into the male dominated world of Formula 1 driving after being accepted into an academy in Abu Dhabi.
Khloe McGill, from Bo’ness, will travel to the Formula 1 academy as she looks to pursue her dream and follow in the footsteps of her F1 heroes.
The talented driver began competing at age six, coming up against grids full of male drivers, the Daily Record reports.
With F1 champion Lewis Hamilton serving as her “biggest inspiration”, the youngster – who got her first Go Kart for Christmas aged four – has progressed through the ranks, regularly competing as the only girl in grids full of boys.
