Bizarre social media footage shows the moment an Edinburgh rave came to a sudden stop after a man was discovered in the scaffolding above the crowd.

The topless man appeared to be huffing on a vape when the music stopped and the artist performing on stage expletively orders the Terminal V Halloween event goer to climb down.

Boos rang out in the crowd at the Royal Highland Centre as the man initially seem unbothered by the pleas for him to dismount the scaffolding.

However a video circulating on TikTok appeared to show the man eventually lowering himself from the structure.

Security staff could be seen shining their torches at the man throughout the ordeal.
