An East Lothian resident revealed a two-vehicle crash happened outside of their home on a well used road.
Kirsty, from Haddington, shared images of the aftermath of the collision on Hardgate in the town, with one vehicle's front wheel axis visibly damaged.
The crash is understood to have taken place at around 4pm on Sunday November 2.
Officers raced to the scene and closed the road to traffic however it is understood the street reopened shortly after.
It is not yet known the extent of any injuries sustained by the two motorists.
Police Scotland could be seen speaking to individuals at the side of the road following the incident.
Kirsty stated she did not witness the crash but heard the smash from inside her home.
Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
