LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Police have arrested an 18-year-old involved in a stabbing that hospitalized a 17-year-old in central Lincoln on Saturday.
According to Lincoln Police, 18-year-old Fomo Mohamed was arrested and lodged at Lancaster County Jail for first-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
Lincoln Police officers were called to the area of 20th and O streets on the report of a person stabbed at 1:30 a.m.
According to LPD, officers found a teenager who had been stabbed by a person he knew. The teenager was taken to an area hospital and is considered stable at this time.
No arrests have been made and police said there is no threat to the public at this time.
