RICHMOND, Va. — With just days to go before Virginians head to the polls, a new Emerson College Polling/The Hill survey finds Democrat Abigail Spanberger leading Republican Winsome Earle-Sears by 11 points in the race for governor.
The poll, conducted October 30–31, shows Spanberger with 55% support among very likely voters and those who have already voted, compared to 44% for Earle-Sears. Since last month’s Emerson survey, Spanberger has gained three points while Earle-Sears has gained two.

“Heading into Election Day, Democrat Abigail Spanberger has solidified her status as the frontrunner in the race for governor,” said Spencer Kimball, executive director of Emerson College Polling.
