The area round of the 2025 UIL volleyball playoffs continues Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 3-4, for El Paso teams in Classes 4A, 5A and 6A.

Five El Paso players to watch in area round of UIL volleyball playoffs

Daisy Diaz , Riverside. Diaz had 17 kills, 15 digs and 18 assists in bidistrict win vs. Young Women's Academy.

Sarah Parrish, Austin. In bidistrict win vs. San Elizario, she had 22 kills, 37 digs and a block.

Tiwa Opawumi, Coronado . In bidistrict win vs. Frenship, she had 17 kills and 17 digs.

Gianna Dominguez, Chapin. In bidistrict win vs. El Dorado, she had 18 digs, three aces and three assists.

Lyah Galford, Eastwood. In bidistrict win vs. San Angelo Central, she had 17 kills, 12 digs and seven aces.
