CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services has released the following statement on the federal judge ruling that Trump must use contingency money to fund SNAP :

“You may have seen the recent federal judges’ ruling on SNAP benefits in the last two days. At this time, Iowa HHS is working to better understand what these rulings mean for SNAP recipients. But at this time, SNAP benefits are not being loaded onto cards until all states receive further clarification.

Iowa HHS will continue to provide updates when new information is available."
