Santa Fe police are investigating after a vehicle struck a pedestrian around 8:30 p.m. Saturday near the corner of Vegas Verdes Drive and Cerrillos Road.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with a head injury, police Deputy Chief Thomas Grundler said Sunday.
Initial investigation indicated the collision was the result of pedestrian error, Grundler added. The driver did not appear to be intoxicated or speeding at the time.
