NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - We are just three days away from seeing the longest government shutdown on record, and we are continuing to see the ripple effects being handed down from Washington DC.
Hope on the Row, a local nonprofit, is out behind the Nashville Rescue Mission every Sunday handing out food and mainly serving the homeless, but Sunday was no different.
There were over 100 people at a food drive hosted by Hope on the Row looking for help from the community nonprofit, which was started five years ago in response to the pandemic.
