Dare County contractor will collect Buxton storm debris on Nov. 17

With the collapse of five houses in Buxton this week, Dare County has announced a schedule for a new round of debris collection. Here is the information.
In response to the significant amount of debris that was generated from the collapse of five houses in Buxton on Tuesday, Oct. 28 during the coastal storm, Dare County has announced that its debris removal contractor, Dupon, will conduct a storm debris collection in this area on Monday, Nov. 17. If possible, place debris in front of collection crews in areas that have not yet been cleared, using the east side right-of-way.
