Auburn football announced its plans to move on from head coach Hugh Freeze Sunday afternoon after spending three seasons on the Plains.
Defensive Coordinator DJ Durkin was named as the interim head coach for the Tigers final three games of the season.
Freeze released a statement on social media reflecting on his time at Auburn hours after the news released of his exit.
