Nebraska Medical Cannabis Commission to hold meeting Monday

The Nebraska Medical Cannabis Commission is set to meet Monday and look over two grower applications .

The commission was supposed to get the licenses approved by the start of October, but was unable to after two members resigned at the request of Gov. Jim Pillen. The two former members, who also served on the Liquor Control Commission , are Bruce Bailey and Kim Lowe.

The commission is allowing four growers, but only two have been approved so far. It started with a list of 39 applicants.
