Abundant bad driver behaviour is evident as city faces surge of crashes involving pedestrians

Running errands on foot shouldn’t make anyone feel as if they were putting their lives on the line but given the state of driving in Calgary today, it’s understandable if that’s how things seem.

A few weeks ago, I noticed an inattentive driver not realizing she had a green signal to turn left. She got honked at by the driver behind her … who was equally distracted by a cellphone he was holding up to his left ear.
