(KIMT) -- We've got a breezy and warm start to the work week on our hands. Full sunshine Monday will allow temperatures to climb to the mid to upper 50s in the afternoon.
Westerly winds will gust up to 30 MPH at times Monday. Southerly winds will quickly return Tuesday with gusts up to 20-25 MPH at times. Northwest winds with gusts up to 20 MPH return Wednesday after a cold front passes. Thursday appears to be the windiest day of the work week with gusts up to 35 MPH at times ahead of a more pronounced cold front that will bring about a winter-like weekend of weather.
High temperatures will be highly influenced by our winds this week. We could flirt with the low 60s Tuesday before temperatures drop to the low 50s for the back half of the week. Raking will not be the best this week thanks
