PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) - An investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed in north Portland on Sunday night.

Just before 10 p.m., officers responded to the 9900 block of North Whitaker Road on reports of a shooting. Officers arrived to the scene and found a man with injuries.

According to police, officers gave the victim first aid until paramedics arrived, but the victim died at the scene. The victim has not yet been identified.

No arrests have been made at this time.
