Police Scotland have launched an investigation into the "unexplained" death of a man at an Edinburgh beauty spot.
Officers received reports that a man had been found injured near Arthur's Seat at around 7.45am on Monday, November 3.
Emergency services attended but tragically, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
In an image shared with Edinburgh Live, an officer can be seen at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson has confirmed that his death is being treated as unexplained and that they are working to establish the the full circumstances.
They said: "Around 7.45am on Monday, 3 November, 2025, officers were called to a report of a man having been found injured on Queen's Drive, Edinburgh.
“Emergency services attended, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
