On Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, Detroiters will select a new mayor , fill two open seats on the Detroit City Council, decide whether to re-elect or replace sitting council members in another pair of competitive district races and the council's at-large seats, and choose members of the Board of Police Commissioners.

Throughout the state, voters will make their voices heard on mayoral races, city council and township races and other key ballot issues.
