A man who has repeatedly been asked whether his children are biologically his due to their skin color has taken to Instagram to share how these comments truly make him feel.

Thomas Dimery, 42, told Newsweek that strangers have commented on his videos featuring his daughters, Aurora, 9, and Araiyah, 3, saying things like: “Those aren’t your kids, they’re black,” and “raising someone else’s black children is pitiful.”

“I do get a little sensitive when someone questions if my children are biologically mine,” he said in an Instagram video (@ tommydmo ) that has 1.5 million views.

Dimery, said he receives most of the remarks online, while his Zimbabwean wife, Sharon, 37, faces them in person.
