The Thunder Basin volleyball took second place in the 4A East after falling to Laramie in the regional championship match in Gillette, and the Bolts will be a No. 2 seed at the state tournament in Casper this week.

As for Campbell County, their season is over after falling to Sheridan in opening round and losing to Cheyenne South in the third-place bracket.

A week removed from a thrilling five-set match against the Broncs, the Camels weren’t able to put up nearly as close of a fight losing against Sheridan in three sets, 22-25, 19-25 and 22-25.

The loss put the Camels in the third place bracket where they took on the Bison from Cheyenne South. In that game, CCHS lost in the first set, 22-25, but would win set two 25-20.
