Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander , the 2025 NBA regular season and Finals MVP, confirmed that he and his family were safe after his home was targeted by thieves while he was playing a game last week.
"Long story short, everybody's safe, and that's all that really matters in the whole thing," Gilgeous-Alexander told reporters on Sunday (November 2) after the Thunder's win against the New Orleans Pelicans via NBC News . "Everything else will come and go, but my loved ones are safe, so I'm OK. I'm happy."
Police in the Oklahoma enclave of Nichols Hills didn't release any new information about the break-in, which took place Thursday (October 30) night as the Thunder hosted the Washington Wizards at Paycom Center.
"The suspects fled the area prior to police arriva
