TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The average price of gas in Idaho is down five cents to $3.35, according to a release by AAA of Idaho. This is about 14 cents cheaper than last month, but six cents more than a year ago.

The price of gas in Twin Falls dropped a whopping seven cents this week to $3.36 a gallon. Boise holds the highest average price in Idaho at $3.39 per gallon, and Lewiston holds the lowest at $3.19 per gallon. The Gem State dropped to 8th place for the highest gas prices in the country though.

The national average is $3.04 per gallon, which is just a penny and a half than last week. It is 12 cents less than a month ago and seven cents cheaper than last year.
