Police seized fentanyl and charged two people with trafficking offences after stopping a vehicle on Regent Street.
Greater Sudbury Police said officers were on patrol Sunday around 7:50 p.m. when they noticed a vehicle that had been involved in a flight-from-police incident earlier this year.

“Officers in a marked cruiser followed the vehicle until it was safe to conduct a traffic stop,” the police service said in a release. “Officers used two marked police cruisers to block the vehicle in while in a parking lot on Regent Street.”
The passenger was breaching several release conditions, police said, while the driver was suspended and wanted on two outstanding warrants by the OPP. Officers also observed drug paraphernalia in plain sight within the vehicle.
