The fact that transgender rights are under attack from a hostile federal administration has not silenced those artistic voices. Now in its 28th year, the San Francisco Transgender Film Festival will return to the Roxie Theater November 13-15 with four programs that highlight some of the best trans films to be produced during the past year. 

Since 1997, the festival has been offering films made by trans and gender-nonconforming filmmakers. Over the years the festival has grown, and it continues to do so.
